We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team, with strong ownership of the full accounting cycle and a key role in ensuring accurate financials while partnering closely with AP, AR, and Treasury to bring structure, control, and efficiency to our processes.

You will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financials, acting as a key partner to the AP, AR, and Treasury functions. Beyond execution, you will bring structure, visibility, and control to our processes, helping the team operate in a more efficient and aligned way.

💪The Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will own the closing process and act as a key connector across the finance team, ensuring accurate data flows, maintaining reliable finances, and continuously improving processes while building trust in the numbers across the organization.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

📘Accounting Close — Ultimate Owner

• Own the full month-end & year-end close, books closed before day 10.

• Coordinate and validate all AP, AR & Treasury inputs before consolidation.

• Final GL review: every account clean, reconciled, correctly classified.

• Deliver P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow to Finance Manager, on time, every time.

🤝 Intercompany Control — Single Source of Truth

• Record, monitor & reconcile all interco transactions.

• Ensure interco balances eliminate correctly in consolidated reporting.

• Maintain a clean, auditable intercompany ledger at all times.

• Flag and resolve mismatches proactively before each close.

📅 Treasury Operations — Day-to-Day Lead

• Daily bank reconciliations across all company accounts.

• Maintain a weekly short-term cash flow forecast; report deviations.

• Oversee payment execution controls (AP, payroll, taxes).

• Feed accurate treasury data into FP&A financial models.

🪙AP & AR Technical Partnership

• Technical accounting reference for AP & AR admins; resolve escalations.

• Validate AP & AR reconciliations before month-end.

• Ensure SII submissions are timely and error-free.

⚖️ Tax & Compliance:

• Manage VAT, CIT, ZEC (Orbidi), SII and all AEAT obligations

• Coordinate with external advisors; maintain full audit readiness.

🤖AI & Automation — Curiosity Required

• We are asking you to be the kind of accountant who is genuinely curious about how AI can make your work faster, smarter, and less manual.

✅What We Are Looking For:

• 3–5 years in general accounting (tech company, startup or Big4).

• Proven ownership of month-end close end-to-end.

• ERP experience (NetSuite is a plus)

• Intercompany accounting in a multi-entity setup.

• Treasury: bank recons, cash forecasting, payment controls.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or ADE. ACCA/CPA a plus.
